CPU performance
As a CPU, the old generation Ryzen 3 4300U is used. Since it is already two generations ago, the performance is considerably more modest than the current generation CPU. That said, it can be used without problems for searching the Internet, watching videos, and creating small documents.

graphics performance
As for the graphics function, Radeon Graphics with built-in CPU is used. Performance is rather low. The effect cannot be expected with games and graphics software. It is for light work only.

The comfort of working with a PC
PCMark10 is a benchmark test that measures the comfort of working with a PC. Since it is intended for common tasks, the tests are relatively lightweight. The trends in each test are “Essentials” (general use) for CPU single-core performance and storage performance, “Productivity” (business use) for CPU multi-core performance and memory performance, and “Digital Contents Creation” (content creation) for multi-core. Performance and storage, GPU performance seems to have a strong influence.
Benchmark test results are not bad. You can see that even the older generation Ryzen 3 4300U can handle light work without any problems. However, it seems that it is still not as good as a high-performance PC.

battery life
The nominal battery life is regarding 7.5 hours. In general, the nominal value of battery drive time is not the result of measurement assuming actual use, so the drive time tends to be shorter in actual use.
However, when I used the VAIO FL15 to measure the driving time for business work (web browsing, document creation, video chat, etc.) at maximum performance, it went into sleep mode in 7 hours and 40 minutes from the start. Approximately 7.67 hours, which is almost the same as the nominal value. Changing your power plan or screen brightness may extend your battery life even further.

Cheap and affordable VAIO
*This product has already been discontinued.
Speaking of VAIO, you may have an image of high quality but high price. Certainly, it is a high-end PC that is reasonably priced for mobile use, but the VAIO FL15 is for general households and general users. The price is usually within reach.
However, even so, the CPU is Ryzen 3 4300U and 99,800 yen (price at the time of sale) is not cheap. If it is an overseas manufacturer, the market price will be around 60,000 to 80,000 yen. This model is not a domestic assembly “Azumino FINISH”, so it is for people who value VAIO’s brand and support.
