Thiruvananthapuram ∙ EP Jayarajan and MV Govindan remained silent on the financial allegations raised by P. Jayarajan in the CPM state committee. It is being discussed among the ranks that both the leaders did not respond publicly to P. Jayarajan who said that EP Jayarajan had a financial deal in Videkam Resort in Morazha.
MV Govindan, who asked P. Jayarajan to submit a written complaint, is informed that he is not ready to make a public statement to avoid sectarianism in the party. EP Jayarajan had said that he had no financial involvement in the resort when allegations were raised regarding the resort.
The Shastra Sahitya Parishad was on the scene from the beginning, showing that the resort would be built by demolishing Udupakkan in Morazha. A complaint was filed with the collector. It is also noteworthy that the resort is in Morazha, the hometown of CPM State Secretary MV Govindan.
