Palakkad: Tourist bus driver Jomon arrested in Vadakancheri bus accident. A case of involuntary manslaughter was filed against Jomon. Jomon’s license will be canceled by the Motor Vehicle Department. Jomon, who was trying to enter Thiruvananthapuram, was caught by the police at Kollam Chavara yesterday evening.
After the accident on Wednesday night, Jomon sought treatment at the hospital and drowned from there. The Transport Commissioner handed over the preliminary report to the Transport Minister on the Vadakancheri accident. According to the report, the cause of the accident was the negligence of the tourist bus driver.
The accident occurred when he tried to overtake the car on the left side. According to the report, the driver returned from Velankanni trip in the morning and drove again at night.
