Vaccination once morest the HPV virus is particularly important for young people because the virus is transmitted during sexual intercourse. They can trigger a number of cancers. In women, for example, they are responsible for around 90 percent of all cases of cervical cancer. Since February 1 of this year, all nine to 20-year-olds have received the HPV vaccination free of charge.
No age limit for measles vaccination
There is no age limit for vaccination once morest measles, mumps and rubella. This is because the three supposed childhood diseases can also lead to serious illnesses in adults: every fourth person suffering from measles has to be treated in the hospital.

Registration for the free vaccinations takes place via a Online platform of the state of Vorarlberg. For the vaccination, the registration form, the vaccination card and the e-card must be brought with you on the respective date.
