Vaccination passport required at the SAQ and the SQDC

Employees of the branches of the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) and the Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC) must demand the vaccination passport from all customers starting today.

To avoid possible overflows, the SAQ has hired 150 security guards to support the workers. Agents will be deployed in large, busy branches.

Cell phones, programmed so that only the VaxiCode Verif application can be used, were sent to SAQs and SQDCs in the province. Each branch was to receive two.

The SAQ has more than 400 branches in Quebec, the SQDC has more than 75.

The noose is tightening around the non-vaccinated. Thus, the vaccine passport will be required to enter supermarkets from January 24.
