Vaccination: Los Angeles votes the same constraints as in New York and San Francisco | NBA

By 11 votes to 2, Los Angeles City Council has decided to tighten its health regulations, and from November 4, it will be mandatory to be vaccinated to enter and play at the Staples Center. A measure similar to what applies to New York and San Francisco, which forced Andrew Wiggins to be vaccinated, and which currently prevents Kyrie Irving from playing and training with the Nets.

For the Lakers and the Clippers, the problem does not arise since the teammates of LeBron James on the one hand, and of Paul George on the other are 100% vaccinated, and the two coaches will be able to count on all of their players for training and home matches. On the other hand, it is not known whether this regulation will apply to the visiting teams. In New York and San Francisco, only local players are affected.

In addition to sports halls such as the Staples Center and gymnasiums, this measure will also apply to shopping centers, restaurants, bars or museums and other spaces that welcome the public indoors.
