Vacation plans in Greater Caracas: what do they offer and how much do they cost?

  • A week of recreational activities within the city can cost from $50 dollars and up.

Starting July 15, institutions, academies and organizations will offer vacation plans in Greater Caracas for children and adolescents with varied interests.

The content offerings are wide, as for this holiday season there are proposals such as artistic, language, sports and even therapeutic plans. The price ranges are also variable, but vacation activities can be found from 50 dollars per week.

Although many of the vacation plans begin on July 15, some of the proposals have weeks of activities available until the end of August to allow families to plan ahead. Also, most of the programs begin in the morning, but there are a variety of schedules depending on the option chosen.

Sports vacation plans

Anima2 Vacation Plan Anima2 has a recreational proposal with tennis classes included at the Altamira Tennis Club starting July 15 for boys, girls and teenagers between 3 and 14 years of age. The vacation plan costs $190 per week for families who are members of the club and $210 for those who are not. The investment covers the costs of lunch, snacks, paramedic and a safe once morest accidents of up to $1,200. Contact: 04141296701

Grand Slam Academy is offering a tennis camp for these holidays, offering classes from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This proposal includes an hour of recreation, hydration and a snack. The Altamira Center Club has developed a sports vacation plan with various physical activities and swimming. The activities will begin on August 5. Registration with a vest costs 30 dollars and without a vest, 10 dollars. Also, the week costs $100, but if the student participates for more than a week, the cost is gradually reduced. The Visión Color art academy developed four themes for this year’s vacation plans that include three days of art classes from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for $60, which is divided into a $10 registration fee and $50 to be paid at the start of classes. The themes of the activities are: Intensely (the movie), anime, pink, arquikids and lettering. In addition, the academy has a location in Chacaíto and one in La Trinidad for these plans. The Alquimia studio offers the Conociendo Artes vacation plan, in which they will teach dance, musical theater, crafts, edible art, and character creation classes. Activities begin on August 5th, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the studio’s headquarters in El Bosque, Chacao de Miranda municipality. The UCAB Ciap has opened registrations for a fashion vacation camp taught by designer and Miss International 2018 Mariem Velazco. The camp is aimed at teenagers between 11 and 14 years of age. The Cultivating My Learning Vacation Plan will offer educational activities for four consecutive weeks starting on August 5 for children ages 3 to 9 at the Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda Park, Sucre de Miranda municipality. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The four weeks of activities cost $150, but students can sign up for just one week for $50. This investment covers the cost of a shirt, a cap, a backpack, work materials, a first aid kit, and transportation to the field trips. Contact: 04242183574

The Community Learning Center (Cecodap) will open on July 15 its second week of Cecocamp aimed at children from 7 to 11 years of age. This is a mental health vacation plan for children and adolescents with tools to work on topics such as self-esteem and emotional management.
