Meanwhile, the protestors said that now their dharna will be held in D Chowk. It should be noted that the protest of the Utility Stores Corporation employees has entered the third day today and their demand is to withdraw the decision to close the corporation. It should be noted that there are more than 4,000 stores operating across the country with the aim of providing basic goods to the public at low prices, but from time to time, reports of widespread corruption in the corporation also surfaced.

In view of the possible protest of the employees, the Islamabad administration has placed containers and sealed D Chowk. The PWD employees protested and came to Islamabad’s main highway Srinagar Highway and blocked the traffic on the highway.

The position of the employees is that the employees are being made unemployed by closing the department. The employees announced to continue the protest until the demands are approved.
