The principal of a government school in Alwar district of Rajasthan state has installed a “secret” surveillance camera in his home, to document his wife’s beating of him and prosecute her in court.

The principal of the school filed a complaint once morest his wife to the court because of the “physical and moral assault” on him, according to the website “”Daily Hunt“.

The website stated that “the husband received security protection following he complained regarding domestic violence,” and accused his wife of beating and assaulting him using “a frying pan, a stick and a cricket bat.”

The “terrified manager” installed a CCTV camera in his home to “gather evidence”, said IANS, India’s largest independent news agency.

The agency published on its Twitter account a video clip from the surveillance camera, showing the wife’s assault on the school principal.

In one scene, the woman is shown hitting the manager with a cricket bat, and in another scene their son is frightened while looking at his mother’s assault on his father.

The agency confirmed that “the director went to the court for protection, and showed clips of the attacks. The court ordered to provide him with security.”

The director, Ajit Singh Yadav, tied the knot with his wife, Suman, following he fell in love with her seven years ago.

“Initially their lives were peaceful, but following a while the violence started. With the repeated violence, Ajit Singh suffered several injuries and was getting medical treatment,” the agency says.

Singh says he can no longer stand his wife’s violence and has gone to court because his wife “crossed all limits”.
