In October 2021, netizens around the globe reported Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp crashes simultaneously. The problems of the Meta networks ended up leaving a drop in Facebook shares, which fell as much as 5.26%.
“We are aware that some people have problems accessing our applications and products. We are working to get things back to normal as soon as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.” without explaining what happened.
