The newly launched Nothing 1 seems to be experiencing some issues, as some early buyers have reported issues with the phone’s screen, specifically the green color issue and so-called “dead pixels” while shooting with the selfie camera.
Nothing announced the launch of its first branded smartphone called Nothing 1 which has been gaining attention recently due to its exciting design.
According to a new report only, one of the users who bought the Nothing1 phone immediately following its launch in India, through his personal account on Twitter, posted that he noticed a slight green color on the phone screen, and returned it due to a manufacturing problem, but it was confirmed that he was not the only one who faced the same screen problem, After a number of users reported the same thing.
Green is something that sometimes haunts AMOLED smartphone makers, and Nothing 1 comes with the company’s first phone falling victim to this problem.
And apparently, this is not the only manufacturing quality problem that the company’s first smartphone suffered, as many buyers also reported at the same time the problem of turning off parts of the screen or “dead pixels” while shooting with the selfie camera.
Some of the screen pixels in the area around the phone’s front aperture have defects that cause disappointing results for photos taken, very similar to what happened with the Pixel 6 screen reported by a number of users.
The company’s support team on Twitter hasn’t said anything, and there’s no official word on why this problem occurred, or whether or not it needs a simple repair program, and there’s also no word on if the problems are widespread, because they didn’t exist. Already for a long time with AMOLED screens that have become widespread in phones of several companies.
It is worth noting that the problem is not limited to Nothing 1, the problems of the green screen have haunted a large number of users in a phone such as Samsung Galaxy Note 20, S20, OnePlus, Nord, OnePlus 8 Pro, and many others.
