The expansion of the use of i toolsgenerative artificial intelligence has been allowing content beyond creative to be created using specific commands in services such as the famous ChatGPT. Even companies like Adobe are also launching initiatives aimed at surfing this wave of AI and content generation.

In this context, the developer Ben Harawayfrom Lumen Digital, combined these AI innovations with something very present in everyday digital life: emojis. The result was the application AnyMojiwhich allows you to create emojis using a template Stable Diffusion through a command, similar to tools such as GIVE HER.

How it works is quite simple: just type a command (in English) with a description of what you want to be displayed in the generated emoji, such as “person listening to music” or something more complex. There is also an app within iMessage, in which emojis can be created and existing ones are displayed. A few seconds later, the result is generated, which can be saved in the Photos app (Photos) or shared.

Even species of dogs, for example, are distinguished, in order to display a representation of the physical characteristics of the one entered in the command. Celebrity names are also possible elements, as well as football teams, characters from games, films, series… the possibilities are multiple!

Above, for example, you can see an emoji of the character James Bond holding a balloon, with his classic characterization from the films. As always in generative AI models, the sky is the limit (without creating offensive content), and you can use the app’s capabilities to make conversations funnier and/or materialize the most distant imagination exercises you have.

Even with this multiplicity of possible commands, the results are very similar to the iOS emoji design pattern. Emojis are created in the format of photos, which are, as mentioned, displayed in iMessage and can be copied to be sent in apps such as WhatsApp e Messengereven without the background, in order to transform them into figurines.

A question raised by iMore It’s the fact that AnyMoji requires an internet connection with good speed so it doesn’t take so long to generate the emojis following sending the commands. Considering that ideas for emojis can arise during conversations, where the agility to send the result is an important factor, it is important to consider this issue when using the app.

The app, in this way, uses the AI tool to offer more possibilities for creating and expressing something as integrated into everyday digital life as emojis. According to the developer, a version of AnyMoji for macOS is being developed, which will further expand the scope of use of the app.

As we announced this week, the app was on sale. At the moment, however, it has returned to its normal price of R$15. Although it is possible to download it for free, it is necessary to make a one-time internal purchase of that amount for the commands to be run and the emojis to be generated.
