In the United States, the H-1B program grants visas that allow foreign workers to be temporarily employed. We are talking regarding applications for job of practices and theories in specific knowledge, for fiscal year 2025.
In this sense, USCIS stated that H-1B specialized occupations may include the fields of architecture, engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, social sciences, medicine and health.
In addition, these are added education, business specialties, accounting, law, theology and the arts.
So, since February 28, USCIS launched the new myUSCIS accounts. These will be available for organizations that will include multiple people within an organization, and also for legal representatives.
All of them will be able to collaborate and prepare H-1B registrations, H-1B petitions and any Form I-907, Request for Priority Processing Service.
So are there changes to H-1B visas?
From March 6 until the 22nd of this month, the H-1B visa program will be extended.
Therefore, in that period, potential petitioners and their representatives must use a USCIS online account to register each beneficiary. This will be done for the selection process and then upon paying the $10.00 USD registration fee.
It is worth clarifying that the H-1B visa applicant employer who has never created a USCIS online account must visit the myUSCIS platform. After accessing the platform, you will only have to follow the instructions to create an account.
On the other hand, if the employer already has its account in previous registration accounts, it will migrate to a new organizational account when logging in.
Meanwhile, forms I-129 and I-907 will also be submitted online, since they are used to submit H-1B applications.
Likewise, USCIS will begin with the online presentation of the H-1B request procedures that have been selected. This will be from April 1.
