The sophomore finished seven-under-par following she went 70-70-69 (-7) in her three rounds at Chambers Bay. This past tournament marked her third time tying for second in a tournament, as she last finished tied for second at the NCAA Championships.

Kou is making her first start of the season. The junior enters her first tournament ranked as the No. 138 amateur according to the WAGR.

Shoemaker makes her second career appearance, as she was part of the starting five at Chambers Bay.
