* FIRST CITIZENS FCNCA.O – The US bank will acquire all of the deposits and loans of Silicon Valley Bank SIVB.O announced on Monday the Federal Banking Deposit Guarantee Authority (FDIC), an acquisition that includes approximately 72 billion of assets at a haircut of $16.5 billion.

* FIRST REPUBLIC FRC.N – U.S. authorities are considering expanding an emergency lending facility that would offer banks more support, which might give the struggling bank more time to shore up its balance sheet, Bloomberg reported on Saturday . The action climbed 25.5% before the market.
* SILVERGATE SI.N – The cryptocurrency-focused lender’s stock is up 14% in market preview following jumping 94% and becoming the second most-traded U.S. stock on Friday, according to JPMorgan.
* HERTZ HTZ.O – The car rental company said on Monday that its chief financial officer Kenny Cheung will leave the group and that Alexandra Brooks, the head of accounts, will take over as of April 1.
* CVS HEALTH CORP CVS.N, SIGNIFY HEALTH SGFY.N – Pharmacy chain CVS Health said Monday it expects to complete its acquisition of health services company Signify Health on or around Wednesday, which might end months of scrutiny of the deal by competition authorities.
* SALESFORCE CRM.N – The US software maker said on Monday that activist investor Elliott Management has decided not to appoint directors to the group’s board because of its strong earnings and transformation initiatives to 2024.
* BAIDU BIDU.O – The Chinese tech giant has canceled plans to launch its ‘Ernie’ chatbot to replace it with a closed-door meeting with an initial group of companies testing the product, the New York-listed stock slips back by 1.9%.
* BLACKBAUD BLKB.O – The software company said on Monday it had received a buyout offer from investment fund Clearlake Capital for $3.78 billion in cash. The action increases by regarding 20% in pre-market.
* MICROSOFT MSFT.O – The group has threatened to cut off access to its internet research data, which it licenses to rivals, if they don’t stop using it as the basis for their own research tools artificial intelligence, Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
* NOVARTIS NOVN.S – The Swiss group’s New York-listed stock climbs 6% following its breast cancer treatment Kisqali showed promising results for treating the disease at an early stage.
* JETBLUE JBLU.O, SPIRIT AIRLINES SAVE.N — The U.S. Department of Transportation on Friday denied a request for a merger between the two groups due to a lawsuit filed this month by the Justice Department seeking to block the proposed acquisition by JetBlue of the low-cost airline.
* ALTRIA MO.N – E-cigarette maker Juul Labs Inc and its former lead investor, Altria Group, the maker of Marlboro, will go on trial for the first time in the United States this week for creating a public nuisance among minors by luring them in with sweet flavored products and promoting on social media.
* LI-CYCLE HOLDINGS LICY.N – The lithium-ion battery recycling specialist said Monday it will build a plant in France, expected in 2024, to break down batteries from forklift maker The Kion Group KGX.DE . The action gained 2.5% before the market.
