USA | Two states will deliver $1,300 stimulus check

The stimulus check is a payment authorized by the United States Government for its residents. Each state has certain requirements, amounts, and dates for its delivery.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue, meanwhile, has decided to reissue refund checks that expired a few years ago and were not cashed.

Minnesota officials reported that nearly 128,000 unique tax refund checks issued in 2023 have gone uncashed and have expired.

For this reason, it was decided to send them once more to the current addresses (that have been registered) of the beneficiaries.

Who receives the stimulus check?

The checks are addressed to taxpayers of USA what “They pay their taxes and are considered very punctual”.

To be eligible for the $1,300 stimulus check, the requirements are:

  • Live in Minnesota since at least 2021.
  • Filed Form M1 for 2021 or Form M1PR for 2021 by December 31, 2022.
  • Have a gross income of less than $150,000 for married couples filing jointly.
  • For singles, have a maximum gross income of $75,000.

Alaska will also deliver an economic benefit

Alaska’s Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) has also been providing $1,300 checks throughout the year.

Recipients are permanent residents of Alaska who intend to maintain that status for the long term.

That is, they must be able to demonstrate their intention to reside in the state indefinitely and have no criminal record.

For this month, it is estimated that those chosen will receive their stimulus check next Thursday, July 18.
