Donald Trump announced that he has agreed to FoxNews to participate in a debate with Kamala Harris on September 4. “This date is convenient and appropriate as it is just prior” to the start of early voting in the presidential election on September 6, the Republican candidate explained in a post on Truth Social.

The debate will take place in Pennsylvania and will be moderated by Fox News hosts Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. The rules will be similar to those held by CNN during the Trump-Biden debate on June 27, but unlike then, there will be an audience in the room. Fox News had invited Trump and Harris to participate in a debate in Pennsylvania on September 17. The vice president had immediately said she was “ready” to confront the GOP candidate, accusing him, however, of having backed out of a previous agreement for a debate on ABC News on September 10. Trump had explained that he did not want to debate her because she had not yet been nominated by the Democrats, but yesterday Harris secured enough delegates for the official nomination. And now the confrontation becomes reality.
