February 11 (Archyde.com) – The morale of American households deteriorated more than expected in February, the final results of the monthly survey by the University of Michigan showed on Friday.
Its confidence index fell to 61.7, the lowest level since October 2011, following 67.2 in January while the Archyde.com consensus was expecting a figure of 67.5.
The component of consumers’ judgment of their current situation fell to 68.5, the lowest figure since August 2011, following 72.0 the previous month and a consensus of 73.0.
