A few days ago, Tiktok CEO Shou Chew had to answer to the US Congress. For some time now, there have been strong political tendencies in the USA that would like to ban the app nationwide – which was even said out loud in the hearing by a member of parliament. Now Chew and his company are getting an unexpected boost from the Democratic camp. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the popular member of the United States House of Representatives, recorded her first Tiktok video on Saturday. In this she openly speaks out against a ban on the app and also justifies this statement.
