A US deal for a Rafah operation reportedly secured Israel in exchange for limited retaliation against Iran, Israeli media reported.
Newspapers such as the Times of Israel and the Jerusalem Post cited statements by an Egyptian official in Qatar’s Al Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper, who said that “the US government has shown acceptance of the plan” presented by his government.
