According to the video, more than 50 consular professionals have traveled to Bogotá from Argentina, Brazil, Belize, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Jamaica, Namibia, Mexico, Serbia, Suriname. and Venezuela to help process more than half a million visa applications.

Likewise, the embassy pointed out that Colombia is ranked number one in visa printing. For this reason, he points out that the consular team in the country’s capital is committed to reducing waiting times for first-time visa applicants.

The Colombian who has any of these other nationalities mentioned must also have the passport of his second nationality updated, which already comes with a digital chip that contains biometric information regarding the owner. If he has the old passport, he cannot apply.

It should also be noted that, to apply for ESTA, it is a requirement that you have never been denied a visa application in either of the two countries of nationality.
