According to Miller, the US continues to urge the Israeli government to stop implementing the law.
“We urge that they not pass it at all, and we will consider next steps based on developments in the coming days,” he continued.
Miller added that UNRWA plays an important role in providing services to Palestinians in the West Bank and other areas where they are on the front lines of providing humanitarian assistance to communities.

“No one can replace them now in the midst of a crisis,” he stressed.
