At the end of trading in New York, it closed up 0.97%, reaching an all-time record high, while climbing by regarding 1.25% and rising by regarding 1.30%.
Among the leading stocks today was Merck & Co. (NYSE:), whose value rose 4.64%, or 5.60 points, to reach 126.38 at the close. On the other hand, Amgen (NASDAQ:) shares continued to rise at 3.28%, or 10.30 points, and closed at 324.56, while Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ:) shares increased 3.01%, or 0.68 points, to 23.25 at the end of the session.
As for the weakest performer at the end of today’s trading, Honeywell International Inc. (NASDAQ:) shares closed down 2.45%, or 4.95 points, and traded at 197.31 levels at the close. UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:) shares declined by 0.90%, or 4.60 points, to a price of 507.14, while Boeing Co. (NYSE:) shares closed down by 0.58%, or 1.23 points, to a price of 209.81.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Standard & Poor’s 500 index was recorded by Corteva Inc (NYSE:), which rose by 18.87% at a price of 54.06. FMC Corp (NYSE:) also continued its rise at 10.57% and closed at Levels of 62.14, as well as Norfolk Southern Corp. (NYSE:) shares rose regarding 9.12% and ended its trading at 255.23.
Among the weakest performing stocks today, we mention the stock of CH Robinson Worldwide (NASDAQ:), which fell by 12.59% and closed its session at a price of 73.50, the stock of Aflac Inc (NYSE:), which lost 9.65% at a price of 76.20, and the Zions stock. Bancorp (NASDAQ:), which fell by 6.32% and closed at 39.25 in today’s session on the stock exchange.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Nasdaq index was recorded by Neurobo Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose by 67.28% at a price of 5.47. Kiora Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise at 53.87% and closed at 0.85 levels. And Ostin Technology Group Co Ltd (NASDAQ:) stock rose by 45.85% and ended its trading at a price of 0.58.
Among the weakest performing stocks today, we mention CCSC Technology International Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:), which fell by 81.60% and closed its session at a price of 3.90, ADDvantage Technologies (NASDAQ:), which lost 67.02% at a price of 0.61, and Revelation stock. Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:), which fell by 63.86% to close at 3.18 in today’s stock market session.
The number of shares that gained more exceeded the number of shares that closed on a lower trading basis on the New York Stock Exchange, with 2235 compared to 677, while 63 remained unchanged. As for the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 2107 of the stocks strengthened their position and 1290 declined, while 132 of the stocks maintained their value.

CCSC Technology International Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:) stock fell to its lowest record level ever, continuing to decline by 81.60%, or 17.29 points, at a price of 3.90. ADDvantage Technologies (NASDAQ:) stock fell to its lowest record level ever, continuing to decline by 67.02%, or 1.24 points, at a price of 0.61. Revelation Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:) stock fell to its lowest record level ever, continuing to decline by 63.86%, or 5.62 points, at a price of 3.18.

Gold futures contracts for April delivery rose 0.19%, or 3.95, and closed at $2,071.35 per ounce. As for trading in other commodities, WTI crude oil futures contracts for delivery in March fell by 2.47%, or 1.87, and reached a price of $73.98 per barrel, while the April contract for Brent oil contracts recorded a decrease of 2.02%, or 1.63 points, and closed at $78.92 per barrel.
The EUR/USD pair added 0.51% and traded at 1.09 levels, while the USD/JPY pair continued to decline by 0.30% and reached 146.43 levels.
Dollar index contracts traded down by 0.18% at 102.90.
