US Senator: The Biden administration is working with Israel to prevent a possible Iranian attack

United States – US Senator Lindsey Graham confirmed that the administration of President Joe Biden is working with Israel against a possible attack that Iran may launch, following the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah in Tel Aviv on Friday.

Graham’s statement, one of Republican candidate Donald Trump’s prominent allies, came during his hosting of the “State of the Union” program on CNN, yesterday, Sunday.

Graham stated that the US administration is working with Tel Aviv to prevent a possible attack that Iran may launch against Israel.

While the senator accused the Biden administration of having “no idea” how to deal with increasing global tensions.

In this regard, he added: “When it comes to Iran, they (the current American administration) are paralyzed by fear.”

He continued, indicating that the Biden administration continues to declare that progress is being made in the ceasefire talks with Israel, considering this a “shame” for the government.

Since September 23, Israel has launched the “most violent and widespread” attack on Lebanon since the beginning of the confrontations with the Lebanese factions about a year ago.

The most important event in these confrontations was the assassination by Tel Aviv of the Secretary-General of the Lebanese factions, Hassan Nasrallah, in a raid on the southern suburbs of Beirut, on Friday, September 27.

Since October 8, 2023, Lebanese and Palestinian factions in Lebanon have exchanged daily bombardments with the Israeli army across the dividing “Blue Line,” which as of Monday morning resulted in no less than 1,771 dead, including children and women, and 8,814 wounded, according to the report. Anatolia monitors official statements.

These factions are demanding an end to the war waged by Israel, with American support, on the Gaza Strip since October 7, which has left more than 137,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
