Electric vehicle prices are falling and their sales are slowing in new and used markets.
Over the past 12 months, used electric vehicle prices are down 33.7 percent compared to a 5.1 percent drop for all used cars and a 9.6 percent drop for used hybrids, according to the latest study from the iSeeCars site.

The study analyzed more than 2.3 million new and used cars from 1 to 5 years old to evaluate the electric vehicle market relative to other segments.
Teslas have had some of the biggest price drops for used cars, ranging from a decrease of $21,775 for the Model X, $18,596 for the Model S and $14,716 for the Model 3.
Electric vehicles rank in the top five of the top 10 used cars with the biggest price drops.

Despite these price drops, used EVs now take 52.4 days to sell, down from 37.1 days a year ago.
The average used car sold in 55.2 days a year ago, but now it sells faster than the average electric vehicle at 49.2 days.

The same patterns are seen in new car sales, where electric vehicles now take almost three times longer to sell compared to a year ago.
At 57.5 days, EVs take longer than the average new car or new hybrid to roll out of dealerships.
