US President Joe Biden prepares to visit Ukraine as war continues

Kyiv / New York | Fifty days following the end of the Russia-Ukraine war, US President Joe Biden prepares to visit Ukraine. It is reported that Biden may visit Kiev soon. A high-level delegation from the White House will arrive in Kiev first. After this, it is reported that Bideno Vice President Kamala Hariso will go to Ukraine.

During the visit, Biden will meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Selensky. U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin are also expected to visit Kiev. But there is no official confirmation regarding this yet.

The United States continues to send aid to Ukraine. Recently, Ukraine announced US $ 800 million in aid. The total US aid to Ukraine has reportedly exceeded $ 3 billion.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Kiev on April 9 to assess the situation. He traveled the streets of Kiev with Selensky. Leaders of the European Union, Austria and Poland also visited Ukraine in April.

President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have visited neighboring Poland since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war.
