US preparing new sanctions against Venezuelan officials and their families, Reuters reports

The US news agency Reuters has unofficially reported that the US government is considering issuing new sanctions against at least 60 Venezuelan officials, personal sanctions that would also affect their families.

The new proposed list highlights: officials of the National Electoral Council (CNE), the Supreme Court of Justice and the counterintelligence police (DGCIM).

The sanctions would impose travel bans on the affected officials and their family members, and prohibit U.S. entities from doing business with them.“, details Reuters.
