US prepares to send armored vehicles to Ukraine from Georgia

The US Army released footage on April 29 showing armored military vehicles in Georgia being prepared for shipment to Ukraine to support the country in the ongoing war with Russia.

President Emmanuel Macron said France will also step up military and humanitarian support in Ukraine following holding a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday. He confirmed the French president via Twitter.

In eastern Ukraine, soldiers fighting on the front lines are digging in before the expected Russian advance.

“Tanks are very important military weapons in the Ukrainian Army. Artillery is good but for attacking from a distance. While tanks are important for close combat as they protect soldiers,” a tank mechanic explained to the Ukrainian Army.

Ukrainian men are fiercely resisting with Western weaponry, prompting Russia to signal that it is in a proxy war with the West.

The conflict appears to be far from over. In which civilians continue to suffer the worst consequences and Ukraine is on the brink of destruction.
