The US is said to have recovered and examined extraterrestrial flying objects. This accusation was expressed under oath by a former Pentagon employee. The head of the UFO authority AARO is now “deeply disappointed”.
The head of the Pentagon office responsible for investigating UFO incidents has sharply distanced himself from the testimony of a high-ranking ex-military man regarding an alleged secret salvage program. He called David Grusch’s claims “offensive” to staff investigating sightings, Sean Kirkpatrick wrote on his personal LinkedIn page. His statement was shared on social media on Friday. Kirkpatrick confirmed the authenticity of the letter to the US magazine “Politico”. He was “deeply disappointed”.
Kirkpatrick, who has had a career as an intelligence officer, was appointed head of the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) a year ago, which was tasked with centralizing investigations into unidentified flying objects (UFOs). The Pentagon and US intelligence agencies have been pushed by Congress in recent years to better investigate reports of devices flying at unusual speeds or trajectories to ensure national security.
In his memo, Kirkpatrick criticized much of Grush’s statements, which fueled belief in extraterrestrial life and made headlines around the world. “To be clear, AARO has yet to find credible evidence to support claims of a reverse engineering program of non-human technology,” Kirkpatrick wrote. In addition, “the central source of these allegations” refused to speak to AARO – which may mean Grusch.
Grusch: “Biological” alien remains found
Until a few months ago, Grusch was responsible for the analysis of unexplained phenomena, or UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) for short – UFOs in the US Department of Defense. He also received information regarding a decades-long Pentagon project: namely to recover, examine and rebuild crashed UAPs. His superiors denied him direct access to the project – which is why, according to the retired major, he decided to go public.
According to Grusch, not only the aliens’ flying objects were found, but also the “biological” remains of the extraterrestrial pilots, as the former secret service agent claimed at a congressional hearing. He was asked there whether he had seen these alien corpses himself: “No, I didn’t see that myself.”
Pentagon denies – even experts are skeptical
The Pentagon denied Grusch’s allegations. There would be no verifiable information that such a program ever existed or currently exists.
And experts like Adam Frank are also very skeptical. The University of Rochester astrophysicist has written a book regarding the search for aliens. Claims regarding secret government programs like Grusch’s have been made for more than 70 years, Frank told CNN: “It’s not new that people say: I heard something that someone heard from someone else. But it never gives evidence!”
According to Frank, the origin of most UAPs will be clarified at some point on earth – only in around six percent of the cases not.
Ex-fighter pilot: “Sightings are not rare isolated cases”
One such case is the so-called “tic-tac” phenomenon, an oval-shaped white object first sighted in 2004 in calm waters off the coast of California by fighter pilot David Fravor, then a squadron captain, among others. He even made a video recording, which is now public.
But for years, these sightings have been hushed up and ignored, Fravor told Congress. This is regarding national security: “This technology was far superior to anything we have. We’re talking regarding something that can go up to space and back in just a few seconds. And there’s nothing we can do regarding it. “
Ex-combat pilot Ryan Graves also observed previously unexplained phenomena in 2014: “These sightings are not rare isolated cases, they are routine. Military personnel and civilian pilots, i.e. people whose lives depend on accurate information, often make such observations.” Graves calls for less secrecy and a central place where all UAP sightings are recorded, processed – and always taken seriously.
