US immigration authorities detain Venezuelan “Leito”

Members of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICEfor its acronym in English) arrested the Venezuelan influencer “Leito” in the state of Ohio, who had crossed illegally into that country.

Through his X account, FoxNews journalist Bill Melugin reported on the arrest of “Leito” who was released under ATD (alternatives to detention) after a first arrest in April 2022; however, Although he had to appear before ICE within 60 days, he did not do so.

The Venezuelan influencer has been strongly criticized for posting video on social media urging illicit activities in the United Statesthe last of them inviting migrants to invade empty homes in the country.

“I found out that there is a law that says that if a house is not inhabited, we can expropriate it”the Venezuelan indicated in one of his latest publications on social networks.

Given this fact, his TikTok account was suspended and offered up to 15 thousand dollars to anyone who would help him recover it.

It is expected that during the day ICE will present a statement confirming the detention of “Leito”, as well as the next steps to take after the arrest.
