The big three in the US auto industry (Ford, GM and Stellantis) are on strike. Around 12,000 members of the UAW (United Auto Workers) union do not allow any (still larger) vehicles to roll off the assembly line. They want significantly more pay – and a four-day week with full wage compensation. So 32 for 40. The argument is “quality of life”.
