Power outages, accidents and fatalities. The United States is gripped by a great cold wave. It’s supposed to be particularly uncomfortable over Christmas.
In the past few days, a major US snowstorm has caused power outages for 207,000 electricity customers (homes and businesses) in seven states, reports “Bloomberg“. Police across New England reported hundreds of accidents. The State Police of Maine announced on Saturday evening that it had responded to more than 180 accidents since Friday evening. There were only minor injuries, according to the US magazine “Time“. The weather development in is unusual Florida.
