Kiev: US authorizes Denmark and Netherlands to send F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine as Russian occupation continues U.S.-made F-16s will be delivered to Ukraine as soon as training for Ukrainian pilots is completed. The training may start this month itself. The U.S. needs approval to transfer its F-16 fighter jets held by allies to another country. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has previously responded that they consider F-16 fighter jets arriving from Western countries to Ukraine as a nuclear threat because they are capable of carrying atomic weapons.
