[ワシントン 19日 ロイター] – The Biden administration is readying $775 million in additional military aid to Ukraine, a Defense Department official said on Wednesday. Surveillance drones, as well as heavy armored vehicles that are resistant to mines, are said to be included.

In this additional support, Japan provided 16 howitzers, 1,000 anti-tank missiles “Javelin”, 15 unmanned reconnaissance aircraft “Scan Eagle”, and 40 mine-resistant armored vehicles “Maxpro”.

This is the first time the United States has provided the ScanEagle, officials said, although other countries have provided it to Ukraine in the past.

This brings the total US military assistance to Ukraine to $10.6 billion since the Russian invasion began on February 24.
