He also confirmed that the needs are increasing with the passage of nearly a month since the aggression, explaining that the suffering is continuing and worsening, especially the suffering of the health sector, in conjunction with the scarcity and lack of health materials and supplies, in addition to the power outage crisis and the outage of regarding 16 hospitals due to the fuel shortage and deficiency.

He said that patients are receiving treatment in hospital lobbies, noting that Israeli aircraft are targeting health facilities.

He thanked the Egyptian Ministry of Health, saying: “The Egyptian government was kind enough to open the crossing and receive cases in Egyptian hospitals. It was ready to receive more wounded, and more than one group entered to receive treatment in health hospitals.”

He said: “The occupation forces bombed the ambulance convoy that was supposed to transport a number of the wounded to Egypt, despite the presence of full coordination from the Ministry of Health and the Palestinian Red Cross, which obstructed the transfer of the wounded to Egyptian hospitals once more.”

He continued: “At the present time, the matter is on hold, and we hope that the course will be corrected, and that more injured and wounded will be accommodated, especially with the presence of large numbers of serious injuries and the expiration of the capacity of beds in Palestinian hospitals.”
