Dubai: Thirteen agreements were signed during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to the UAE. The agreements were signed at a ceremony at the Khasr Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi in the presence of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nehyan and Urdugan.
The agreements were signed in the areas of health, agriculture, transport, industry, modern technology, defense, climate, culture, disaster management, media and youth development. He also visited Urdugan at the Expo. He was received by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Meanwhile, the country has prepared a warm welcome for Urdugan, who arrived in the UAE for the first time in a decade. The Turkish flag was flown at major buildings and government institutions across the country, including Burj Khalifa. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed received Urdugani at the airport.
The reception in the UAE was a thank you for the warm welcome Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed received when he arrived in Turkey two months ago. Erdogan said he was inviting private companies in the UAE to invest in Turkey. The main objective is to strengthen bilateral relations. He added that the UAE was Turkey’s main trading partner in the Gulf.
