KOMPAS.com – Senior comedian Mandra Naih recounts the ups and downs of opening a restaurant business that she and her family are involved in.
This 58-year-old comedian admitted that one of his unpleasant experiences was when one of his daughters, Tia Septiana, was hit by a visitor who came to his restaurant.
However, Mandra is grateful that her daughter can understand this condition and continue to work professionally.

“It’s not a little bit that my child gets angry with all kinds of people, but he still does it in a friendly way, smiling,” said Mandra as quoted from the Cumicumi YouTube channel, Monday (19/6/2023).
According to Mandra, the crash started when visitors were not served optimally.
This is due to the increasing interest of people coming to the restaurant in the East Jakarta area.

“There are so many dynamics, with people who are very enthusiastic, so those who work are overwhelmed,” said Mandra.
Mandra, who is popular through his role in the soap opera Si Doel Anak Sekolahan, admits that he is not bothered by this.
For Mandra, the bitter and unpleasant experience was a set of risks that he should have endured while going through everything, including opening a restaurant business that specializes in Betawi cuisine.

Mandra actually apologized when there were visitors who stopped by his restaurant but were not well served.
Going forward, Mandra will continue to improve the restaurant services he built.
“But it’s a risk, what can I do, maybe if there are people who come, I’m sorry, so are the people around,” said Mandra.

It is known that Mandra has turned his large yard into a restaurant.
Currently Mandra has 40 employees, of which 10 people are part of his family, where there are two children who help as well as the son of his younger brother, namely Mastur.
Betawi cuisine is a special feature of Mandra’s restaurant menu.
