Upper Austrian league team ASK St. Valentin presents a new coach

For ASK St. Valentin in the Upper Austrian Football League on Saturday against bottom team SPG Wels 1b it will probably be the game of the last chance: the Lower Austrians are currently in second to last place – and based on the current table standings, they would have to be relegated after the season . If more than one Upper Austrian team is relegated from the regional league, even the third-from-bottom team in the highest league in the state would have to move to the regional league. A groundbreaking game is on the agenda for St. Valentin.

Regardless of which league the club will be in next season: Michael Windischhofer, most recently with regional league team Naarn, will be in charge of the sidelines from summer onwards. While interim coach Gerald Engleder is supposed to achieve the miracle of staying in the league in the remaining six rounds, Windischhofer is supposed to initiate a real new start: St. Valentin’s squad is about to undergo a rejuvenation treatment.
