Accordingly, the production of goods in the third quarter of 2022 (these are the most recent figures) was 30.2 percent higher than the same period in 2019, i.e. before the outbreak of the crisis. Compared to 2021, there was also a significant increase in the production of goods, up 17.6 percent.
There were also positive developments in tourism: Compared to the pre-crisis level in 2019, the number of overnight stays in Upper Austria increased by 0.7 percent.
