Stefan Reiter’s work as league spokesman is already bearing fruit for the Upper Austrian league teams. The relegation has been adapted: from the 2024/25 season, only the penultimate player in the Upper Austrian league has to compete.
If there are two (or more) relegated teams, the relegation will not take place. In the current season it can also happen to the third-to-last team.

Regional league team Ried has found a coach for the Young Vikings: Julian Baumgartner, previously playing assistant coach, is promoted to head coach of the regional league team. The 29-year-old’s goal is obvious: staying in the league.
