Upholstery caught fire on the main avenue of Castillito (+ video)

Municipal Firefighters and Ferrominera Orinoco officials managed to control the flames, however, they have not revealed the possible causes of the event.

A fire was registered in a commercial establishment in the Castillito sector of Puerto Ordaz, at approximately 4:00 pm this Sunday, May 29.

The flames began in the premises of an upholstery located on the main avenue of said sector.

Officials from the Municipal Fire Department of Caroní and Ferrominera Orinoco attended the site.

By 5:30 in the followingnoon, the fire commissions were still working to put out the fire.

Presumably, the flames would have caused damage to premises near where the fire originated.

Around 7:00 pm the fire was extinguished. However, the authorities have not revealed the possible causes of the flames or the report of the damage.

Uniforms from the Caroní Municipal Police and the Bolívar State Police also attended the scene to protect the area.
