Hello Sylvie, this seems very complicated to me: a new low pressure core should in fact not pass far from Belgium. There remains uncertainty regarding the power of the gusts but what is certain is that the rain will shower us from 9-11 a.m. from the west. This rainy front will invade the entire country and it will rain in Wavre until at least the end of the followingnoon. The sky will then open but heavy showers will take over in a cool (10-11°C) and windy atmosphere. In fact, the computers model 75 to 90 km/h with a peak from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to obviously be refined in future updates. Honestly, it seems very, very complicated to me to enjoy the outdoors…
And regarding the rest of the country this Friday?
In the morning, we will still have to count on a few showers in Flanders as far as Antwerp but dry weather elsewhere with more gaps in the south. Between the two, an often cloudy sky but generally dry weather under a moderate to fairly strong southwest wind, no longer exceeding 55 or even 60 km/h at sea.
In the followingnoon, we will still have this instability at the coast which might slowly overflow towards the interior of the country and Hainaut-Brabants following 2-3 p.m. (some light rain). The south still seems to be aloof and should be so until the evening when the remnants of this disturbance might give an isolated shower. The maximum temperatures will drop slightly to 7 to 12°C and the wind will not move at gust level. In the evening, dry weather everywhere and you will have to take advantage of these few hours of relative calm.
