The 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata will receive a number of enhancements, including an all-new 8.8-inch infotainment system with Alexa support.

The Mazda MX-5 Miata, which costs $935 more than its predecessor (the updated car starts at $28,985), has received a number of important updates. The changes are easy to notice. First of all, these are the headlights with new LED daytime running lights. There are also new LED taillights, as well as updated wheels.

The color palette has been expanded with the addition of Aero grey. Mazda says it has a “cool tone that contrasts nicely with the available dark trim and wheels.”

Noticeable changes have also occurred inside: Mazda has a completely new 8.8-inch display for the infotainment system, which has been supplemented with new functions available using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. In addition, Mazda’s infotainment system is integrated with Alexa for the first time ever. This allows users to adjust the climate control system and radio by voice.

Additionally, the car features a new instrument cluster that features “simplified, high-contrast graphics for easy readability at a glance.” The model also received a modernized center console.

Mazda hasn’t forgotten regarding the driving experience either: the MX-5 Miata gets a new steering rack with optimized elements to reduce friction. The company says this results in smoother steering feel with a sharper on-center feel for smooth motorway cruising.
