Recently appeared hearing that NVIDIA will release new GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards.
According to MegaSizeGPU, at least two models are planned and should be expected by the end of October. Board partners believe that this is an attempt to offer more cards for the middle segment, where competition is now growing.
NVIDIA is about to release RTX 3060 with 8 GB video memory, which is 4 GB less than the original model. The current model retails for $350 in the US, so sub-$300 pricing for this 8GB variant is possible.
In addition, NVIDIA is also releasing an updated RTX 3060 Ti with memory GDDR6Xassuming it has the same 19Gbps as the RTX 3070 Ti, memory bandwidth will increase from 448Gbps to 608Gbps, a 36% increase.
No confirmation on RTX 3070 Ti with GPU yet GA102, however, as mentioned earlier, such models are often localized and not sold worldwide. An example from the RTX 30 series is the RTX 3060 Ti with GA103 GPU, which is only available through select partners in China.
The full specs for these new mid-range cards are in the process of being confirmed, so more news is expected soon. Preliminary launch dates indicate that these cards may arrive after the first RTX 40 models are released.
