Many rumors point to a Nintendo Direct next week, which would arrive on September 3 or 14. If there’s one thing you can count on, it’s a new Nintendo Direct in September. The events always take place at the beginning or middle of the month, before the Tokyo Game Show.
Recognized leaker Pyoro is starting to tease and reveal announcements for the upcoming Nintendo Direct. For those who doubt the man, before the Nintendo Direct in June, he declared that a new Super Mario Bros. game. in 2D would be announced. It also indicated a remake of a classic SNES game, which turned out to be Super Mario RPG. Other leaks include the announcement date for Everybody 1-2 Switch, Samba de Amigo: Party Festival, and Toutombe for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet.
Pyoro’s first tease reads: “Let’s just say that fans of a certain MATLAB feature will be excited regarding the upcoming Nintendo Direct. Fans quickly realized that it was most likely F-Zero, with Final Fantasy Tactics and Metroid Prime as other possibilities. See here.
Pyoro tweeted once more and hinted that a Donkey Kong game would be announced during the Nintendo Direct. First of all, regarding the Donkey Kong game, it appears that it is actually Mario vs. Donkey Kong.

Furthermore, Pyoro mentioned that Pac-Man 99 will soon no longer be available. Some think this is a sign that the F-Zero game will be similar to F-Zero 99, but that’s just pure speculation at this point (like everything else, really).
Reminder: PAC-MAN 99 will be discontinued in one month.
