Brussels Charleroi airport informs its passengers that a strike by some of the Belgian pilots of the airline Ryanair is planned for these July 15 and 16, 2023.
This strike might lead to disruption of flights departing from Brussels Charleroi airport. Nevertheless, this will not apply to all flights.
We strongly recommend that you take the following steps:
1. Check your flight status.
We recommend that you check the Ryanair website regularly (www.ryanair.com) as well as our website (www.brussels-charleroi-airport.com) to find out whether or not your flight is affected by the strike.
2. Check your emails or text messages.
You will be notified within 48 hours before your departure if your flight is maintained or cancelled. Please complete this check before heading to the airport.
3. Contact Ryanair.
If you have booked a flight with Ryanair during this period, we suggest that you contact the airline directly for details of your flight.
4. Have you reserved a car park, a fast track or the lounge?
If you have made a parking reservation exclusively via the official airport website, we invite you to go directly to this link in the event that your flight is cancelled: . You can change your dates there up to 5 minutes before your scheduled arrival time or request a refund (which must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled arrival). Regarding the reservation of your fast track or the lounge, you can go to the same link and request a refund (make this request max. 24 hours before the day indicated on your reservation).
