In Upper Belgium, the sky will be cloudier. During the day, the cloudiness will become variable to sometimes abundant with showers from France. These showers might sometimes be quite heavy, stormy and accompanied by gusts of wind, according to forecasts from the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM).
Between Saturday evening and Sunday evening, and mainly on the southern slope of the Ardennes in the province of Luxembourg, cumulative precipitation might reach 25 l/m2, or locally even more. The maxima will vary between 10 and 14°C south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow, and between 14 and 16°C in the other regions. The south to southwest wind will be moderate at first, then become quite strong to locally strong with gusts of 50 to 70 km/h, or even more in the event of heavy showers.
This evening and next night, the weather will initially be generally dry with occasional clear spells. Cloudiness will then become more abundant and rain will spread to the south-east of the country. The minimums will vary between 8 and 12°C. The wind will become moderate once more from the southwest, then from the south.
Tomorrow morning, it will rain in the Ardennes. In other regions, the weather will be drier with some clearings. During the day, cloudiness will increase in all regions with rain or showers from France. The precipitation will sometimes be quite intense with a risk of thunderstorms. The maxima will vary between 10 and 14°C in the Ardennes and between 14 and 16°C in the other regions. The wind will be moderate from the south, then from the southeast. It will weaken temporarily.
