Upcoming Weather Changes in Saudi Arabia: National Meteorological Center Updates and Warnings

RIYADH: The National Meteorological Center has announced that the temperature in different regions of Saudi Arabia is expected to drop significantly in the coming days. The center also warned that the strength of surface winds will increase in the border areas of the country such as Al Jouf, Tabuk and Hail. Cloudy conditions with active winds are also expected in Asir, Al Baha and Makkah regions.

Thunderstorms may also be experienced in some areas. The weather report released by the Center also pointed out that there will be a decrease in temperature in the eastern regions of the country and Riyadh and Al Qasim regions. The maximum temperature in the country will be 25 – 33 degrees Celsius. Temperatures are expected to be 33 degrees Celsius in Riyadh and Jeddah, 29 degrees Celsius in Dammam, 25 degrees Celsius in Abaha and 32 degrees Celsius in Madinah in the coming days.

Even at the end of November, the country has not experienced any significant cold. By December, more cold weather may be experienced in various parts of the country. Temperatures are also expected to drop below 20 degrees Celsius by the end of next month. Most parts of the country are experiencing heat during the day.

Even though some parts of the country experience changes in weather including rain, the atmosphere remains warm. But occasional rain and wind in some parts keeps it cold. Day length is also shorter now. Weather observers have concluded that it will gradually get colder in the coming days.
