We caught up with the developers to find out regarding upcoming projects. Article: Ben Lyons – Gamereactor.cn While still a few years away, since the game doesn’t currently have any release date or window, Gamescom Opening Night Live revealed that Tripwire Interactive is currently creating a brand new Killing Floor game. Called Killing Floor 3, we had a chance to chat with Tripwire during our stay in Cologne to learn more regarding the game directly from creative director Bryan Wynia. In that interview, which you can read in full below, we asked Wynia how the team might improve and make the Zeds scarier than ever in the upcoming third installment. Wynia replied, “So Horazine, with the game being set in the not-too-distant future, they have decades to improve the way they build these Zeds and make them more challenging for players. And we as Developers, we realized that visual feedback from gore, to audio, to VFX, would make your weapons feel more impactful. “It’s very rewarding to shoot something. For example, like we showed you meat pounds, right? Being able to shoot off part of his visor and see something horrifying below, something lifeless, he doesn’t even have eyes. As you can see in our trailer, we actually just messed them up. We’ve probably spent more time and money describing what messy eyes sound like. So, yes, this calls for some pretty serious conversations. “But being able to see you knock the visor off in the game, and then it’s kind of like a lifeless creature staring at you, like you can’t look into its eyes, basically like begging for forgiveness, like trying to talk. When the time comes You’re almost here. Watch the full interview to learn how Unreal Engine 5 will allow the team to realize their vision for Killing Floor 3, what some of the new enemy types will include, and how they’ll throw wrenches for players.
