Up to ten FCB stars could go in the summer!

The surprising Champions League defeat once morest Villarreal might lead to a turning point at Bayern. The focus is primarily on the Munich squad, which Julian Nagelsmann believes no longer meets the demands of the record champions. According to current media reports, up to ten Bayern stars might leave the club (prematurely) in the summer.

Nagelsmann has never made a secret of the fact that he wants new players. The 34-year-old already hinted in winter that he might definitely use one or two newcomers. However, those responsible in Munich have vetoed it and emphasized that the current squad is very well positioned and referred to the tense financial situation. The Bayern coach emphasized once more this week that at some point “the time always comes to do something new”.

The early CL defeat once morest FC Villarreal and the numerous mixed performances in the second half of the season clearly show that the Bayern squad is lacking in quality. There is no real competition in many positions. As “SPORT1” reportsthere might be a major upheaval on the Isar in summer.

According to the TV broadcaster, there are four players in Marc Roca, Bouna Sarr, Christian Früchtl and youngster Malik Tillmann who should leave FC Bayern in the summer.

Sarr and Roca have been on Munich’s strike list for quite some time. The Spaniard and the Senegalese have so far always ruled out a premature farewell to Bayern. According to reports, this is also due to the well-paid contracts of the two. According to rumours, they each earn between 2-3 million euros per season. A lot of money for two players who play no role at all under Nagelsmann and also have no perspective.

Young goalkeeper Früchtl also plays no role in FCB’s plans and should leave the club as profitably as possible. U21 international Tillmann, on the other hand, is a loan candidate. The offensive player should collect game practice at another club.

In addition to those players who are to be sold or loaned out, there is a whole range of professionals who might leave the record champions. These include Marcel Sabitzer, Omar Richards, Josip Stanisic, Tanguy Nianzou, but also stars like Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry.

With Stanisic and Nianzou, a lot depends on whether Bayern can add to their position in the summer. With Noussair Mazraoui, FCB is regarding to sign a new right-back. Nagelsmann also wants a new player for central defence, ideally a new head of defence. This would significantly reduce the playing times for Stanisic and Nianzou.

In the case of Omar Richards and Marcel Sabitzer, Bayern are basically willing to talk, but are not pushing for a sale. While the Englishman has no problem with his reserve role behind Alphonso Davies, Sabitzer would only be let go if offered a suitable offer. According to “SPORT1” information, the pain threshold for the Austrian is 15 million euros. In addition, Ryan Gravenberch, a new midfielder, is regarding to move to FCB.

In addition to the numerous reservists and supplementary players, Lewandowski and Gnabry, two real stars, might also leave FC Bayern in the summer. The contract talks for both are very sluggish, and for both it is completely open whether they will agree on an extension.

As “SPORT1” reports, Gnabry definitely does not want to accept a free transfer in 2023. In plain language: If there is no agreement in the coming months, the DFB star is a candidate for sale. With the transfer income, Munich might commit to an adequate replacement. With Antony and Christopher Nkunku, FCB already have two specific players on their radar.

The starting point for top scorer Lewandowski is much more complicated. Here, too, there is a risk of losing the striker on a free transfer in just under a year. According to rumours, however, Bayern would be quite willing to keep the Pole until the end without collecting a fee. A sale in the summer is only an option if the Munich team commit to a suitable replacement at the same time. The problem: The number of suitable candidates is limited. In addition, these usually cost a lot of money, more money than a Lewandowski sale would probably bring in. At the moment, however, there is no real trend at Lewandowski, as the concrete talks with the FIFA world footballer are still to come.
